With your SwayTek® sway pole assembled, you will be able to climb the pole in a technique similar to the one used with Chinese Pole. Climbing techniques videos can also be provided eventually.
NB: Please note that some people might feel discomfort and insecurity in their first climb. Therefore, a security system must be in place, should an artist need assistance, while getting acquainted with the SwayTek® sway pole.

You will then begin by testing its flexibility in an incremental fashion, starting with small movements and getting a first feel of the bend and rotation of the apparatus.
If the Swaypole® is not well adjusted to the user's weight, the user might be able to easily bend the pole up to or over 90 degrees, which is NOT recommended. Please be mindful of this eventuality.
A performer should avoid bending the pole past 70 degrees. They should have to work hard in order to bend the pole up to 90 degrees.
